You may want to strengthen your nerves to face the holiday season, one of the most stressful times of year, at least for some.
Unfortunately it has been quite easy for me to appreciate over the years that the December holidays are not all jolly-tipsy-tooriloo-didu. The Chrismtas carols are charming (especially if sung by Frank Sinatra, my Lady would say); the food is delicious and I always wish for more; the gifts and the trees are lovable (don’t tell but I peed on a decorated tree last year, I swear I thought it was a wild tree); but then you have the human gatherings.
Aside from the overpowering burst of color and sparkle, you have the overpowering gatherings and reunions of distorted and flammable emotions.
