My owners sometimes worry about stuff and it just happens that worry is a very contagious thing so I end up worrying too. This has led me to wonder, what is “worry”? “Worry” is a bit of a nuisance. Here is what happens:

  1. You worry about something.
  2. You start feeling as if that something is actually happening.
  3. You worry even more.
  4. When you worry you don’t think effectively, so you fail to realize you are living an imaginary situation.
  5. In reality, that something is NOT happening but you are too worried to realize it.
  6. That something, that has you worried may not happened, as a matter of fact, mostly likely, it will NOT probably happen.
  7. While you are worrying living your fictitious worrisome life, other things do happen but you miss to see them.
  8. Conclusion: worrying has no purpose other than remove you from being the star of your actual life.

For example, the other day I let go of a little gas and the gas came with a freebie (this is when a tiny drop of poo comes out involuntarily with the gas). I got worried that when my owner came back home she would make me spend the night in the yard, alone. So there I sat pondering and staring at the freebie, which was the cause of so much anxiety.

Finally, it just happened that my dad owner came back before she did and he saw the tiny poo.

“You are going to get it if she sees it,” and he picked it up and threw it down the toilet!

If I had known, I could have saved myself a lot of worrying! But now I know.

I AM DONE WORRYING AND HERE IS HOW:

Instead of worrying about the what if, I shall live the what now. For example, as soon as I get anxious about something, I’ll get busy with whatever is happening at that very moment.  It could be looking for my blue ball that always gets stuck under the sofa, or figuring out how to open the garbage can to grab a snack, or hunting a bug somewhere around the house.

So that’s it! Get busy with the NOW boys and girls!
