Felipe, don’t you wish you could talk like them?

Not really…

We could ask for things, like cheese, bread and muffins.

They wouldn’t give it to you just because you asked.

You reckon?

Positive. They would instead give you a hard-to-follow explanation of why dogs can’t eat cheese and sweets, and that the vet says this and that, and that you have to eat your dog food.

Oh, boy!

Yeap. And if we could talk we would most likely have to explain why we jumped on the sofa, why we dug in the garbage can and we would have to say that we won’t do it again.

Oh, boy!

“Yes”, “no”, “good dog”, “bad dog”. That’s all we need.

She never says “bad dog” though.

We are not bad dogs.

And she loves us.

She does.

C’mon Felipe, be honest. You would love to be able to talk to her!

We communicate just fine the way it is.
