Hello there boys and girls!! How is your 2016 going so far? Hope you are doing fantastic.

The New Year has brought me two revelations that I am going to share with you right now.

  1. When you face the Next Wave you should always do so with the determination of dealing boldly with its consequences.
  2. What scares you can become a source of inner strength.

FACE THE NEXT WAVE WITH ALL ITS CONSEQUENCES:
When you decide to move forward into your chosen direction, don’t worry about things getting a bit rough at first. It’s all part of the process and it doesn’t mean that you’ve taken a wrong turn. So no regrets and no looking back, it’s time to keep on moving ahead. Sooner than you think your head will be out of the water and it will be smooth sailing from then on.

On January 1st, I literally ran to the next wave and for a moment I found myself struggling under the water (I promise I’ll post some visual testimonial of this incident next week). I got scared and I thought I was going to drown. At once I realized that it was up to me to stay alive so I stood up on my three legs, shook off the water and ran to dry land. I started to feel invigorated and as my coat dried up, I felt I could take over the world. I would do it again and I will.

YOUR FEARS WILL MAKE YOU STRONGER:
I don’t like dudes on skateboards. Particularly when they come from behind and whiz past too close to my paws. This holiday season, my Lady and my Mate got a skateboard. When I saw it I charged against and bit it in order to destroy it. They didn’t let me. They encouraged me to go on it and I did. Actually, I had no choice, my Lady held me up, put me on the skateboard and started to take pictures.

As soon as I noticed the camera shutter going off and the lens focusing on me I knew I was in the spotlight. I am not sure whether it was a feeling of triumph or a feeling of stardom but I felt great on top of that docile skateboard. Who was the smart fellow who said: “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek”?

Boys and girls, there are no shortcuts to become a better more fascinating you!
